For all you arteests!
Art–Tanya Davis
She reads my mind! Should we follow our art? Is it beneficial to the world? My heART says “Yes!”
Art may not seem constructive or practical. It’s not a straightforward way to help the world. But sometimes following our hearts are the best ways to help. We cannot plan our paths to the very end saying, “If I do this, this, and this, I will make a difference in the world.” That’s why we have to listen to the call from God, the Spirit, the universe, and our hearts.
And it is so good for us. Like she says in the video, “If I tell everyone my stories will this keep me healthy and well?” Yes, I think so.
This video was a good reminder that we should not hide our light, our words, our thoughts…our art.

I love it! God placed it our souls to see the world through artistic eyes. We have to express ourselves this way…for our own mental and spiritual health.
I think when I am actively creating most every day it makes me a more content person, leading me to be better at giving out to others too.
Thanks for sharing, Lydi!

Enjoyed the video. Your 2nd paragraph is very profound and encouraging. About following our hearts/God/Spirit instead of following a pre-planned formula. Good wisdom ^_^

e-ART-h.
I wish I could draw. I ought to start learning already. I love beauty. Probably because God does too, and because He made me, and the world, which is an unrivaled masterpiece that no human can imitate, even with all their attempts at cloning and “creating”.
And God’s greatest masterpieces are you and I, my friend.
As the song lyrics go, “you’re a masterpiece that all Creation quietly applauds; and I can see the fingerprints of God.”

Nika–
I love thinking about how creating art is worshiping our creator because we’re in his creation, and he’s in his creation.
